Ideal for cutting or scoring through a coating or substrate to isolate a specific diameter test area for adhesion testing.
Test area isolation (if required)
Use a 14, 20, or 50 mm hole saw to cut or score through coatings around the edges of a dolly (pull stub) to isolate a specified diameter test area and remove excess glue.
NOTE: For coatings with strong lateral bonding, it is recommended to cut completely through the coating down to the substrate.
Testing concrete repairs and overlays in accordance with ASTM C1583
Use the 50 mm diamond-impregnated hole saw to drill a circular cut perpendicular to the surface to a depth of at least 10 mm (0.5 inches)
Depending on the model, a hole saw is included with each PosiTest Adhesion Tester or Conversion Kit (excludes ATA50T and AT50TKIT). 14 mm hole saw is available for use with 14 mm dollies.
