The new PosiTector gage body builds on this legacy. Featuring the same award-winning probe interchangeability that set the previous model apart, it is backwards compatible with every PosiTector probe manufactured since 2012.
With a single gage body, measure coating thickness on metals or non-metals, dew point, surface profile, soluble salts, hardness, wall thickness, and more.
The completely re-engineered gage body features an ergonomic design with rubberized grip for all-day inspection.
With the included shock-absorbing protective rubber holster, it can withstand the toughest industrial environments.
The sealed, IP65 rated enclosure is designed for the most challenging indoor and outdoor conditions-whether a dusty blast room or an unexpected rainstorm.
The new impact resistant touch screen makes navigating through menus, entering notes, and renaming batches easier than ever. At 2.8 inches, the screen is 35% larger for even better readability in any condition.
For users wearing gloves or for those who prefer more conventional operation, the redesigned keypad can operate all gage functions. The familiar, easy-to-use PosiTector menu structure is retained.

Like before, there are two models of the PosiTector gage body: standard and advanced.
The standard model now stores one thousand readings per probe. The advanced model now stores up to two hundred fifty thousand readings in up to 1,000 batches or groups, and continues to feature Bluetooth and wifi technology to communicate with PosiSoft.net web-based storage, the PosiTector App, and virtually any third-party device or software.
Depending on which probe is connected, the advanced body adds functionality such as scanning, SSPC PA2 and the new ISO 19840 mode for coating thickness probes.
Using the new, heavy-duty USB C connector and included cable, the new PosiTector can communicate with PosiSoft Desktop, the powerful, free, and easy-to-use solution for managing measurement data and creating custom, professional PDF reports.
